Xander
Lovable and goofy Xander is the guy of the gang. He fell for Buffy the moment he saw her and has had very confused feelings for her since. Frustrated about being no power boy, he feels a bit out of the game.
He is probably the character that hates vampires the most, since his best friend Jesse was killed and turned in the very first episode. Xander himself staked him. From that moment on, her realised what the fight was about.
Xander is very insecure and covers is up by joking around. He has very peculiar taste in women, as has been named a 'demon-magnet' more than once. He has been involved with a giant praying mantis, a life-sucking incan mummy, a bitchy cheerleader, a psychotic Slayer and a 1000-year old man killing ex-demon.
After high school he starts to work and ends up becoming a successful construction worker. He almost marries Anya, but freaks out and abandons her at the alter, but never stops loving her.
He loses an eyes fighting Caleb, and leaves Sunnydale after the final fight against the First.
